The Great Gatsby Trailer

The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite novels of all time. I think it’s one of the best novels ever written. So as a fan of the novel and of Leo DiCaprio, I was looking forward to watching the movie, but after watching the trailer, I’m not sure what to think. The music is well… not 1920’s music. Not exactly fitting for the era. And the entire thing just looks too stylized, and the trailer only focuses Gatsby! Let’s not forget that story is told in Nick’s PoV.

I gave my first ever commencement speech to the graduating class of 2012 at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

I think I told them everything important that I knew about going out into the world and being an artist, so I may never need to give another one.
